Google Coral EdgeTPU

Coral 是 Securex NVR 中非常适合持续目标检测的低功耗加速器。PCIe/M.2 版本通常比 USB 更稳定；USB 版部署更方便，但要避免 USB 省电、Hub 供电和总线问题。

模型要求

Coral 不能直接运行任意 TensorFlow/ONNX 模型。模型必须针对 EdgeTPU 编译，且输入尺寸、dtype 和 label map 必须与模型一致。常见 SSD MobileNet EdgeTPU 模型通常使用量化整型输入。

PCIe 排查

1. 宿主机确认 PCIe 设备存在，例如查看 lspci。
2. 确认 Apex/Gasket 驱动模块已加载。
3. 确认容器获得对应设备节点。
4. 查看启动日志是否成功初始化 edgetpu detector。

USB 排查

• 不要优先接无源 USB Hub。
• 确认宿主机 lsusb 能看到 Coral。
• 设备偶发掉线时检查 USB autosuspend、供电和延长线。

如何判断正常

系统统计应持续显示 Coral detector 的 inference time，并且摄像头 detect FPS 稳定。Intel GPU 0% 并不代表 Coral 没工作——GPU 视频解码和 TPU 目标检测是两条独立链路。

Google Coral EdgeTPU

Coral is a low-power accelerator well suited to continuous object detection. PCIe/M.2 variants are usually the most stable; USB is easy to deploy but is more sensitive to hubs, power, autosuspend, and bus issues.

Model requirement

Coral does not run arbitrary ONNX/TensorFlow models. Use an EdgeTPU-compiled model with matching input dimensions, dtype, and label map.

PCIe troubleshooting

1. Verify the PCIe device on the host.
2. Verify Apex/Gasket drivers are loaded.
3. Pass the required device node into the container.
4. Confirm edgetpu initialization in startup logs.

USB troubleshooting

• Avoid unpowered hubs.
• Verify the device with lsusb.
• Investigate autosuspend, power, and cable quality if it disconnects.

Healthy state

Telemetry should report detector inference time and camera detect FPS should remain stable. Intel GPU at 0% does not mean Coral is idle; GPU decode and TPU inference are independent.

Modelo

Coral necesita un modelo compilado para EdgeTPU con dimensiones, dtype y label map compatibles.

PCIe

1. Verifique el dispositivo en el host.
2. Verifique drivers Apex/Gasket.
3. Pase el nodo al contenedor.
4. Revise la inicialización edgetpu.

USB

• Evite hubs sin alimentación.
• Compruebe lsusb.
• Revise autosuspend y alimentación si se desconecta.

Estado correcto

La telemetría debe mostrar tiempo de inferencia y FPS estables. GPU 0% no significa que Coral no funcione.
